Solar Installation Company, Known for Offering American Made Panels to Residential Customers, Praises President Biden’s Initiative to Boost USA’s Clean Energy Industry
MOORESVILLE, N.C. JUNE 14, 2022 – On Monday, June 6th, President Joe Biden announced he would authorize the Defense Production Act (DPA) to help accelerate the manufacturing of clean energy products, like solar panels, here in the United States.
As a longtime provider of American-made residential solar panels, Pink Energy would like to thank the President for taking this important action to boost our industry and keep jobs crucial to the future of the world’s energy economy here in the U.S.
“We are firm believers that solar and battery technology will play an important role in our energy future,” said Pink Energy President and COO Steve Murphy. “Doing what we can to keep high paying energy jobs here in America has always been important to us and we stand firmly behind the President’s action to help spur our industry domestically.”
President Biden’s plan aims to rapidly expand the domestic production of five critical areas:
Solar panel parts like photovoltaic modules and module components
Building insulation
Heat pumps, which heat and cool buildings super efficiently
Equipment for making and using clean electricity-generated fuels, including electrolyzers, fuel cells, and related platinum group metals
Critical power grid infrastructure like transformers
Pink Energy clearly recognizes the importance of keeping good-paying energy jobs on American soil and is proud to offer American-made solar panels to our residential customers. These actions taken by our government will help ensure that our industry has room to grow domestically and will strengthen our strained and outdated electric grid, all while lessening the strain on the industry’s supply of critical energy efficiency components.
