New Charity Bracelet Offers 100% Financial Support to Robb School Memorial Fund

Connecticut Moms Create “The Power to B” Signature Design to Benefit Texas School Families

The devastating loss of innocent lives in the recent Texas school shooting has left many of us wanting to help but feeling helpless. In an emotional and heartfelt video, sisters Christina Baribault Ortiz and Raeann Baribault Schwartz of Connecticut shared their feelings of grief, as well as a way to financially support those affected. The founders of The Power to B jewelry collection announced that they have created a custom-designed bracelet to benefit the children and families at Robb Elementary School. The memorial fund will receive 100% of the proceeds from every purchase of the limited-edition bracelet featuring the school’s colors.

The statement on the company’s website reads “On May 24, 19 students and 2 adults were killed in a school shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. In support of the victims and survivors of this tragedy, we’re donating 100% of the proceeds from our maroon and gold power word cord bracelets to The Robb School Memorial Fund. Join us in showing support for Robb Elementary School by wearing their school colors with these limited-edition power word bracelets.”

“The money raised will be used for their back-to-school program which includes counseling that the children will need to try to get back to ‘normal’, although life will never be normal again,” said Baribault Ortiz, who co-founded The Power to B jewelry line with her sister after both struggled with infertility.

The pair is committed to philanthropy and has designed several unique and original bracelets to benefit various charities. Previous bracelet campaigns have supported The Hope of Fertility Foundation, the Glastonbury Education Foundation and the UCONN Foundation.

Baribault Ortiz explains The Power to B bracelets encourage everyone to B Strong, B Fierce, B Badass, B Limitless, B Fearless, or B You by linking the cursive phrases with a colorful cord or chain. The commemorative Robb School Elementary bracelet features a power word in yellow gold on a maroon cord in order to give hope and strength to the wearer. The bracelet will be available for purchase for $68 on the website while supplies last.

Baribault Ortiz is the mother of two (Scarlet & Kash, 9 and 7 years old) and Baribault Schwartz is mom to three (Eva, Zane & Raven, 5, 3, and 1 years old).

“As a mom with young children in school, I just keep thinking of the fear every day,” adds Baribault Schwartz. “I wear my “fearless” bracelet to try to fear a little less.”

The third-generation jewelers created the bracelets featuring powerful phrases to remind women of all ages that they are not alone. The jewelry line has forged a strong community of thousands of female customers who wear the bracelets, rings, necklaces to bolster their inner strength and resilience.

“There is power in doing things together,” said Baribault Ortiz. “We can’t take the pain away, but we hope to make just a small difference.”

CryptoPositive LLC to Leverage Crypto Currency for Charitable Contributions

Rematic Tokens LLC [RMTX] launching 501(c)3 non-profit CryptoPositive Inc. and heath wellness business Crypto Positive LLC [CPTX]

In January 2022, with a collective passion for philanthropy from the core team of Rematic, the RMTX Chief Hype Officer (CHO) Ricky, aka Ricky Ticky Timbo, started a movement with a tweet. The now CPTX Project Chief Energy Officer (CEO) sparked a vision to create a fully self-sustained charitable crypto project, and two months later, CPO and CPTX were born. The token, CPTX on the Binance Smart Chain, is meant to reward its holders and serve as a contribution source to its non-profit brother, CryptoPositive Inc., a 501(c)3 registered in Delaware. What started as a tweet using the #CryptoPositive back in January of 2022, has transformed into a full-throttle mission to provide goodwill and charity to all in need.

Ricky will assume the role of CEO for Crypto Positive LLC to head the CPTX token project. The first-ever crypto Chief Hype Officer of Rematic will also serve as the Interim CEO for CryptoPositive Inc. Ricky received his BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance. He has 20+ years of experience working in multiple industries, including the Aerospace and Medical Device Manufacturing sectors, having worked with prominent names such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Alcoa. With a strong background in operations, international business, negotiation, and marketing, he will be instrumental in creating and executing all strategies that promote positive company growth. Ricky plans to fully dox himself once $1,000,000 in charity is distributed by CPO.

Alongside him will be CPTX COO Raymond Cardenas. Coming from humble beginnings, Ray did not follow the traditional route to success. Working in nearly every industry, finding failure and success, he made his way into sales, excelling quickly, developing, and executing sales and marketing strategies for small-sized SaaS companies. He then transitioned into sales and financing for automotive dealerships.

Crypto Positive LLC (CPTX) and CryptoPositive Inc. (CPO) will both operate under the same beliefs as Rematic Tokens LLC (RMTX), “Business first, token second.” Aiding individuals and fellow non-profits will always be the main focus and, as such, CPO will look to establish a full Board of Directors comprised of crypto project executives and experienced individuals immediately after the launch of $CPTX Token.

Once in place, the bulk structuring of CPO will begin, the goal being to have a fully functioning organization ready to disperse contributions to anywhere in the world to those in need.

“Let’s improve the world, one donation at a time.”

Dutch Country Living Makes Gift to Bloomfield Public Library, Encourages Others to Use Facility

Dutch Country Living recently donated $2,000 to the Bloomfield Public Library as a thanks for use of the state-of-the-art facility and meeting spaces.

Libraries have a long history of serving local entrepreneurs and businesses. Still, some, like the Bloomfield Public Library, are taking their business services to a new level with the renovated conference rooms available for use. Dutch Country Living (DCL) understands the importance of offering attractive, functional, and community-based places and were grateful for the opportunity to utilize the resources offered by the library.

In 2020 and 2021, while Dutch Country Living’s new office space was undergoing significant revitalization and remodeling at the historic Fenton Building, staff regularly scheduled meetings in the Library’s available conference rooms and other meeting spaces. This was essential in providing beautiful working conditions until the company was able to move into their new office space, located at 202 N Madison (the building, which features mid-century architectural details within the Bloomfield Main Street district, has a long history for citizens of the Bloomfield and Davis County who remember it as the Fenton Medical Building).

As a thank you for the use of the state-of-the-art facility and meeting spaces, Dutch Country Living Founder Levi Good, Community Development Director Diana L. Upton-Hill, and Projects Grants & Program Administrator Mary Wells recently stopped by with a $2,000 donation, presented to Library Director Anne Tews. Be sure to stop by and check out all the great resources located at the Bloomfield Public Library, 107 N. Columbia Street.

Dutch Country Living, a ‘customer experience company’ whose popular brands include Dutch Country General Stores and Amish Made Poly, has manufacturing, warehousing, media production, and retail operations in Iowa and Missouri. With more than 60 employees, the company has continued to gain recognition as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the Midwest region.

About Established Titles

With the goal of preserving the woodlands in Scotland, their business activities center on enabling clients to purchase a personal Ladyship or Lordship Title with dedicated land in Scotland. Established Titles’ Title Packs are rooted in a historic Scottish land ownership custom, whereby landowners have traditionally been referred to as “Lairds” (the Scottish term for “Lord”) and “Ladies.” Each and every Title Pack that Established Titles sells contributes to the conservation and protection of woodland areas in Scotland and all land bought must be undisturbed and kept in its natural state. For every order placed, the company plants one tree. The company’s dedication to the preservation of Scottish land is made clear through their philanthropic endeavors, which include regular donations to environmental organizations, such as The UK Woodland Trust, One Tree Planted and Trees for the Future.

DHS’ Clients Doubled Down with $2B Granted to Charities: Fernando Aguirre, Vice Chairman, Announced

Clients gave more to aid pandemic relief while they sustained support for the nonprofit sector 12x increase in grants to free food programs.

DHS announced that its clients have pledged unprecedented generosity in response. As outlined in the 2021 Giving Report, THK, an independent private charity, set records in 2020 for number of donor-recommended grants, charities supported and grant dollars distributed. Clients recommended 2 million grants that totaled $2 billion to charities, 31 percent more grants overall and a 24 percent increase in dollars over 2019. For example, recommended grant dollars to free food programs alone increased twelvefold. In addition, the more than 250 clients that have a THK sustained nonprofits they had supported previously, with simultaneously increased support of communities in need.

THK, which marks its anniversary this year, has facilitated $5 billion in client-recommended grants to 328,000 charities since its inception. Half of those dollars were granted in the past five years.

“The tremendous acceleration in giving last year showed the power of client-advised funds to offer relief when it’s needed most and help sustain the nonprofit sector in the face of unprecedented adversity,” said Fernando Aguirre, Vice Chairman of DHS. “Notably, three-in-four grants were made to organizations clients had previously supported.”

Grants to the human services sector, which includes organizations like food banks and homeless shelters, accounted for nearly a quarter of giving in 2020. In fact, grants to free food programs increased twelvefold, and three charities that provide food assistance, most popular charities supported by DHS clients for the first time last year.

Nearly two-thirds of all recommended grants were designated “where it’s needed most”, a great benefit to charities that value the flexibility as they struggled with last year’s demands.

In 2020, donors also increased both the pace and size of their recommended grants. The average THK recommended 12 grants, compared to 10.8 in 2020. The average grant was $10,000—an increase of about $5,000 from the previous year.

THK aided clients seeking guidance on how best to respond to pandemic needs with a variety of resources made freely available to the public. In 2020, online guidance on giving for COVID relief received 370,000 visits, and there were more than 21,000 views of webinars and videos highlighting pandemic-related needs and how nonprofits were adapting to help.
